Day 1 – Depart from your hometown and travel to the Wisconsin Dells. Upon arrival, climb aboard a cruise boat for a one-hour cruise of the Lower Dells, then enjoy some free time in the area. Lodging tonight is in the Wisconsin Dells (B.D)

Day 2 – Check out and head west to Mitchell, SD where you will visit the a-maze-ing Com Palace before checking into your lodging. (B.D)

Day 3 – Depart westward, traveling through the Badlands National Park with a stop at the visitor’s center. Continue to your lodging in the Rapid City area, stopping at Wall Drug. After a delicious dinner in the area. enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure. (B,D)

Day 4 – Depart with your local guide and return to Mt. Rushmore National Memorial to walk the President’s Trail. Stop at Crazy Horse Memorial and visit the Museum of the North American Indian. During a drive through Custer State Park you’ll view an abundance of native wildlife. Enjoy dinner this evening, then return to your lodging for a restful night. (B,D)

Day 5 – Meet your guide and visit the Journey Museum where you can explore the heritage of the cultures of the Black Hills region. Visit the Mt. Rushmore Black Hills Gold Factory, then depart for Historic Deadwood (the West doesn’t get any wilder) and Mt. Moriah Cemetery (burial site of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane). Dinner this evening is included (B.D)

Day 6 – Continue west into Wyoming, destination Cody. Visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 7 – Check out and cruise west into Yellowstone National Park. Meet your guide for a tour of the park, including Old Faithful Geyser. Lodging for the next two nights is in Jackson, Wyoming. (B,D)

Day 8 – Visit Grand Teton National Park this morning, then spend the afternoon relaxing in Jackson. Tonight’s treat dinner and entertainment at a local ranch. (B,D)

Day 9 – Start east today, traveling through Wyoming to your overnight lodging. (B)

Day 10 – Watch the scenery as you continue traveling eastward to Lincoln, Nebraska area. (B.D)

Day 11 –Today’s destination is Springfield, Illinois, stopping along the way in Hannibal, Missouri to visit the Mark Twain House and Museum. (BD)

Day 12 – Tour the Lincoln Presidential Museum this morning, then depart for home – taking with you beautiful memories of your vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota and Yellowstone National Park. (B)
